Obedience Training
We emphasize foundation-style Dog training with Obedience. Our experienced trainers use a structured command system that teaches dogs and puppies to associate their name with a cue, marking the command/behavior with a praise word, and then associating that praise with something positive and rewarding on a schedule. We use a Phase 1-4 FSDT system .
Phase 1:
The technicals of positive reinforcement-based training and schedules of reinforcement.
Phase 2:
Teaching concepts of punishment including escape conditioning, avoidance conditioning, and the use of conditioned punishers. This category also includes the use of corrective leash-based training collars.
Phase 3:
Here we learn to use the concepts that we taught the dog in phase 2. This category also includes the use of the e-collar in the training plans.
Phase 4:
Maintaining training in different areas.
We adhere to LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) methods for humane and effective results. We prioritize ethics and transparency, always concluding sessions on a positive note—making the experience enjoyable and fun for both you and your dog.
