We can offer training solutions and consultations for ADA Service Dogs, Police/Military K9 units and other working dog teams. If you're interested in personal protection training, our training equips your dog for real protection skills while mitigating aggression by providing an appropriate outlet. We focus on a dog's natural instinct to protect their pack, starting with a solid obedience foundation. This ensures that when any advanced training begins, commands like "Defend" against an agitator, or "Search" for a specific scent are as straightforward as telling your dog to "Sit".
We employ ethical methods that are safe for both dogs and handlers, never forcing a dog to perform tasks they are not naturally inclined to do.
Our Advanced Training also includes off-leash obedience and advanced such as bite work, scent detection, and tracking. We start with positive reinforcement and add fair corrections only when necessary, while always aiming to make training fun and confidence-boosting for your dog. Adhering to LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) methods, we avoid heavy-handed techniques, including the use of "choke offs" or breaking sticks.
